Design Thinking: Two 65- and 45-storey towers rise from a connected dramatic podium and parking structure, with shared amenity spaces and green roofs. A sweeping design approach to these towers created sloped and terraced tower faces, which as a result establish the foundation for diverse housing and recreational typologies. The façade is accentuated by a clean white metal band that rises up the towers, culminating at the top of the curved roofs. The puncture through the central part of the podium’s mass lifts the base from its foundation, creating a bridge between the two towers and a dual porte-cochère.
Key Features: Once a relatively isolated site on the Toronto waterfront, the mixed-use luxury condominium of 1285 units will act as a nexus of activity, connecting the site’s neighbouring bridges and adjacent buildings with the new park. The openness of the design preserves lake views for developments on the sites east of the building.
